Powerpoints are widely used by teachers / researchers on conferences, seminars, universities and even schools. Powerpoints are a good combing device because the authors usually have searched hard the web to find good images or know someone who can provide the the right images to illustrate some concept.
Try 'Self-Organization convection filetype:ppt' at Google. For instance the 4th search result
