Hello,
I've an fresh installation from Exalead Desktop 4.6.
If I wan't to open properties (http://127.0.0.1:17500/preferences) or Exelad Search (http://127.0.0.1:17500/search/mypcSearch?q=), the error "Your Exalead one:desktop product is not yet started. Please use link in MS Windows start menu to launch it." is shown.
Reboot or close/reopen Exalead doesn't solve the problem.
What could I do?
Greetings
Martin
Hello,
I'm encountering a weird problem :
When I type in a search query with a double space, I get a
"Our servers are busy, please try again later." error.
For example :
1. if I search for "a test" I get results
2. but if I search for "a test" I get that error.
Strange...
Well really everything is Brilliant! The Pictures, web search. its all perfect not slow indexing. Brilliant!

I love exalead and I find it useful and very good at results. But I have one complaint:
The indexing of sites is very slow. At the current rate, a site will take years to get as much indexed as google or yahoo! I say exalead should enhance the
Samples of my sites that are moving too slowly:
http://www.ksu.edu.sa
http://reference.ksu.edu.sa
sounds very exciting but looks like the invitation form is not active at that time yet. Thx!
Exalead Desktop is a great Search Engine.
Is there any way to get or make an Portable Version (no Registry and no Setup required)?
Can ExaPinUpGirl compete with Ms. Dewey (http://www.msdewey.com)??? Say, of course Sir Watson! So, when and where is her?
Exalead search engine is one of those search engines that let you visualize search in a very detail way. Know in that Exalead should have a Timezone in the Exalead homepage, and in the searching, for every member in the Exalead community as well any guest member, So they can get track of their time, while they are searching the web. Also to be the first search engine to have a Timezone.
Hi,
I would like to know how to submit my site to your search engine. I shld also convey that your search Engine is Impressive! Great guys!

Exalead already offers some powerful images operators such as width:, height: and size:. Imho image search would be even more powerful if it were possible to search for the aspect ratio (operator aspect:). That way it would be possible to search for images which weren't too tall or too wide, being those values defined by the user;
It would be useful, if it were also possible to search for a range of numbers using the mathematical notation of intervals. Example:
width:]480;640] instead of width:>480 width:<641.
Exalead should have chat room for everybody on the community to chat and to know about the incoming news and to talk more freely than just posting feedback as well.
Be able to import or export the bookmarks we have on the home page.
My main reason for checking out (and coming back to) exalead is the wildcard search feature: "/*ouse" will find websites with any words ending on "ouse". Google, Yahoo, MSN don't have that. This is your strength, and you should expand on it. I am a newbie, but my suggestion is: improve the instructions (help) on wildcards, and add more features, such as "/a???b" to find all five-letter words starting with a and ending on b.
