I have just installed the latest 4.6 desktop It first uninstalled the 4.5 before installing. It completed indexing, but when I attempt a search it opens my browser with the message "Click on Windows start to start exalead" and this
url appears "http://127.0.0.11...rch/mypcSearchq=" However nothing happens.
4.5 worked perfectly
Can anyone help?

As subject says it *can be* annoying when thumbnailes are arranged automatic. That makes it very difficult to arrange a 5x4 boxes in an order you like.

A tabbed dashboard would be good so I could separate work shortcuts from personal shortcuts.

It would be nice if you could choose not to have the exalead boxes arrange automatic. Just beeing able to place them anywhere at the page... not on search dialog though :)

one thing i want to mention,
when i click my shortcut,it opens the website on the same page instead of that you can can change the codes to open it in new page...
may be using target="_blank"

The font size on the result page is rather large - it should be the default font size that users have set in their browser preferences (that IS their preferred font size, after all).

I like your setup. What would make it even better is if when you left the mouse pointer on a web page icon for a second it would load that page and zoom it in to full screen; until you moved the mouse then it would return to the icons display.

So if I have CNN, MSNBC, DRUDGEREPORT, GOOGLENEWS as the pages on my home screen all I would have to do it to mouse over each one for a second to pop it open.
After reading it I'd move the mouse to close it the leave the mouse cursor on the next page icon to pop it open.

So I could read all of my home pages with out having to mouse click at all, that would be awesome. (You'd probably have to preload the pages though to get the performance that would make it really impressive.)

Dear exalead Team,

I don't doubt you know one of your competitor which is ask.com. I noticed they put their filters on the left of the results, instead of right on exalead.

I find it more userfriendly on the left, even if I don't know if my opinion is a general one... (and I'm a french user, so no, I don't do everything the wrong way)

The other day I noticed myself of a problem that has exalead. And it is that it takes much in loading. In my opinion some things would be due to change, like the option of being able to clear the image of the short cuts or one more a smaller and slight image.

The title bar at the top of the page http://feedback.exalead.com/ says "You conversation space" and i'm thinking that it is supposed to be, "Your conversation space"..... Coffee makes you focus on things like this......

I don't think I can distinguish this page from flickr or lastfm
make this design either clean or at least individual

Please, remove from exalead's homepage the annoying jingle in the title "Internet search engine, image search engine, video search engine ..."

I think you have something here, your shortcut page is amazing but could be a lot more usable ex be able to search by date, group, different personal users diff pages, instead of bookmarks and with a little thought a lot of interesting different things.

Bravo pour votre outil, son design, sa puissance etc.
Petite déception : pour un outil "d'origine française", il est un peu frustrant d'être redirigé à plusieurs reprises sur des pages en anglais (ex. pour enregistrer un commentaire).
