Is there any way to go back to desktop version 4.5? (Or add a preview pane below the results list?

I love the new look, but the feature I used the most was rapidly previewing docs - now I have to move between pages rather than just clicking the next document to preview - slows down the process.

Also, can you add the icons back to the Source list? It is easier to tell the sources apart by icon than by text.

How about providing users a shorter Public Profile address like in most "social network" sites which is all over the net these days.

This can also bring more traffic to Exalead.

I want to share my shortcuts to my friends..
I think "exalead.com/avibot" will look more interesting and easy enough to remember than "http://feedback.exalead.com/users/170688"

There are two key things that are missing from the Exalead:Desktop. Specifying in the query Authors and Attachments. The data for both are already there so I think that are easy to add.

I would think everyone would love to be able to search for:

/foo|bar/ source:"outlook" Authors:Dave* hasAttachment:true

Maybe it's already there but for the life of me I can't find it.

I would like to see few things:

1. Saving bookmarks to exalead.com, with keywords that were used to find the result(s). In similiar fashion as: Myweb, Google Bookmarks and Myask.

2.News search.

3. Free email + pop3 + smtp free like google.

The current shortcut thing is nice for few bookmarks. But it is tedious on the page when many.

Why is there no keyboard shortcut to start the Search Window? And why can't I start the Exalead Desktop without the Internet Explorer Chrome when I double click ExaleadDesktop.exe or run the .exe from the command line?

Any Ideas? Workarounds?

This is a serious security issue: Emails in my Outlook spam folder are indexed. When previewed, images are loaded automatically (even though Outlook did not load them).

I think there should be an option to disable automatic image loading within emails, or somehow retrieve the Outlook Settings for the message (argh, probably will be slow...).

Any plans to incorperate a malware link warning system similar to Google? Also I notice that rgGuard (same type warning app) does not work with Exalead - or with Live Search - but both Yahoo and Google support it. Thanks!

Would it be possible to Resize the Boxes and place the shortcuts in alphabetical order. It would be nice to be able to apply our own background.

Dear Exalead team,
Though I love using Exalead on my PC, I am frustrated that I cannot access the search engine in a more user-friendly interface from my Blackberry.
I feel it is urgent to develop a mobile.exalead.eu section to offer the same usability as Google (sorry to mention these guys) on mobile.

I'm working on a 12" iBook with a 1024x768 resolution.

On exalead results page, I often get 3 sponsored results, and i need to scroll down to have my first non-sponsored results.

Sponsored results are ok, but in my case (small resolution), this is really too intrusive.

Maybe reduce the sponsored results height ? or adapt to the client resolution ?

This is the kind of annoying things that lead me to not switch to exalead

Shift-Clicking on (outlook and file) directories or paths in the results excludes the path from the search result - very much like clicking on the icon in front of the document type.

Or is there a feature I just didn't get yet?! Cheers, TC

Actual Facts: hundred thousands WEBinars (LIVE WEB presentation) are / will be held every month on the NET, both public and private.We might see a tsunami of WEBinars coming in a near future and so far it's yet a real jumgle to get an accurate and exhaustive alert about any specific WEBinar topic/type.

Opportunity:
1.provide a comprehensive WEBinar Yellow Pages (Catalog/Agenda)
2.the ExaDudes might then suggest a more effective and standardized (rather than the WEB crawler)submit form to announce/list any Webinar
